The next patch

What do you guys want to see the most next?

The feature suggested should be both usable by new and mature players.

Not really sure.. to be honest. I think guilds/clans are beneficial by all. Maybe tournaments...
In my opinion.. i think you should do several small additions before getting into a big project again.

On an off idea.. I was thinking a virtual lobby would be fun to have.. Thats a big project though haha.

Yeah, I also think virtual lobby would be more for exe applications over flash - but reasonings behind such a project could be made even for flash later on.

Tournaments seem like a good idea - I'de like to add more life to the game...whether others are still enjoying it, i'm finding it a bit boring just thinking about the current features.

PvP is a pretty big project, but I can always begin preparing the engine a bit more for it every smaller patch while working on the other magic types & events.

I think almost everything I'd like to see is coming out in the next patch from what I understand. Which is mainly the framework for magic and black magic. I'm all for getting some more abilities, more class abilities would be awesome, but I'll take magic! As a tank, using fury is kinda an iffy thing. Yeah, I can do some more damage with it, but at the same time, do I want to be taking more damage? Sometimes yes, and sometimes no. So getting something that I can use in battle, be it spell or other ability would be a plus. (But that's already planned from what I understand so I just wasted tons of space for no reason! Yay me!).

However, something that I'd like that I haven't heard about yet, would be the ability to raise stats. 'course, I don't know what a lot of them do anymore. (cuz you can only see what stats do what when you're creating a character...) It does look like a portion of the skills page is for attributes (stats?) but has not been implemented yet. So that's something I'd like to see. Oh, and I was about to ask if there would be a skill or something that could increase health regen, but I figure you can just use White Magic for that. And some more unlockables, be it more inventory or character slots or what-not.

Of course, this is just what I'd like to see. Overall I just think it's great to be a part of a game like this that's still being updated and expanded. In other words, keep up the good work!

The biggest purpose of slow health regen, is to reduce soul pool, which admittedly is the games biggest market. You can increase health regen by (ofcourse) buying character credits, as other alternatives to do it more easily would obviously kill the market.

However, i'm very behind on where I wanted to be...which was to have fishing tradeskill out, then cooking, which ofcourse would allow for creating foods (which will all take some amount of soul pool - but will obviously have economic value due to that), so character credits aren't the only hope, but they certainly help.

What I would like to see would actually be some form of mini game(not bejewled to the side). Something that you can do either as a side quest thats kind of fun/rewarding, or that you can mindlessly do while talking to people.

A daily minigame for SP or the like, but really just something to make it less boaring. Can't really come up with anything too specific though :/

-Edit-
The start of player owned tiles/buildings. Quickly throw togeather a guild system, nothing too fancy, and some form of upgrading for them. Add a simple mining system, guild X of 10 players got X amount of exp points (possibly leveled up by adding a % of exp to guild?) and are now able to own 1 tile and build 3 buildings, and require X stone to build, and more to upgrade. I would like to see this start to get implemented in whatever way, and I think later on it could seriously be one of the main features of the game. I know having my guild own this certant area and be at war with the surrounding guilds would be cool, even fighting for popular tiles. Say the tile outside a lair could be very valuable, and lots of people would want to take it, and the owners would have to defend it +build stuff, say a market to sell things. Tiles outside of mines/forests would be popular. A tile next to water that builds a dock for fishing, and happens to have a special fish found there would certantly be cool/start wars over.

Sorry, this isn't out of sarcasm, but mini games can be found through google at

http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&sourc ... =&aql=&oq=

while you're in chat - they don't need to be in the game to play them and chat.

With tradeskills and other features there will be more to do - mini games have no relation to anything in Retime, therefore unless made for an event, will not likely ever be added to the game.

Most people play other games while both fighting and chatting in Retime....Mini games aren't going to bring much of an attraction considering the player would have to understand a complex genre just to access a mini game.

I think that you should change the death penalty --- maybe like scale it to the person's lvl, or even 50% because I find it completely ridiculous that u love all exp no matter how much u have --- because also, sometimes people's things crash which they have no way of preventing (like caligula).
I said this in chat, and i mean no offense by it, but it just seems like you're trying to promote buying credits, or just make it so ppl stop playing (which from reading previous posts and stuff, the former sounds truer, and its understandable)

Yea I agree 100% loss of exp on death without sp is pretty bad.

Also can we get a thing on extract when we click it, then it says Yes or no in another pop up. I lost some exp today by accident hitting that. Its in a bad spot to not have a prevention.

Heh, I screwed that one up. I actually made an update back over a month ago making it so you only lose 5% exp, but I forgot to comment out the code for completely resetting exp.

Tomorrow night, or friday will include this fix on the server update.

Magic! White magic, red magic, green magic, blue magic, more cooldowns to burn this almost useless blue bar :)

Also, functionality (read: shops and healers) in the towns both far north and far south of the map

tradeskills, or at least gathering skills and more storage for tradeskill material. Id even be happy with having a storage box that can only hold trade items
